And in turn, miners, by a similar principle, ensure the operability of an entire “cryptocurrency system.” And they also receive a certain rating in this system, but also as a bonus to this – a real reward in monetary terms.

What are the nodes?
Depending on which part of the network the node processes, it can be divided into two types:

Full node. This node includes all data already stored and updated on the blockchain network. Also, she should have one, constantly open port. It is needed to receive incoming requests. Full Bitcoin nodes are very important for the functioning of the entire system, because it is on them that all data about transactions carried out on the network is recorded. And only they can confirm their accuracy. If full nodes were excluded from the network, then no one would be able to check whether the transaction is reliable.

Lightweight node. These nodes have almost no independence. Basically, all decisions made by them are based on what decision the other miners made. Because of this, it sometimes happens that they make the wrong decision. And as a result, incorrect transactions are confirmed.

The problem of deficiency of full nodes
Very few blockchain network users run their own full nodes. And this is a completely justified decision on their part. The main reason for not starting it is that a full node requires a lot of memory to store it. In general, the equipment for its storage will constantly have to be improved, since the data volumes in the blockchain are growing every day. Not many people are willing to spend a tidy amount on the content of a Bitcoin node.

Full nodes are completely independent of other nodes that operate on the network. They themselves can confirm the validity of transactions, and this will not contradict the rules of the blockchain. If there were no full nodes, then the blockchain network itself would not exist.

What is the benefit of creating a full node?
Of course, the main plus in creating your own complete node is that you become an absolutely independent member of the network. You yourself will be able to check whether transactions comply with the rules of the blockchain – in a matter of seconds.

Ordinary pawn miners. They only execute commands that come from full nodes. If you do not want to be dependent on anyone and know that you will not have problems confirming the validity of your transaction, improve the computer and create it. So you become a privileged and more active member of the network.
